Hi! I'm Tiia, an essayist, critic, and editor based in Naarm. I write about film, popular culture, and digital ephemera. My work can be found in The Guardian, Overland, Meanjin Quarterly, The Big Issue, Senses of Cinema, Kill Your Darlings, Australian Book Review, and elsewhere. I can regularly be heard reviewing films for ABC Radio Melbourne's Victorian Evenings. 

In 2022, I was selected as a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellow. In 2021, I was shortlisted and highly commended for the Deakin University Nonfiction Prize. 

I am currently a member of the Australian Film Critics Association (AFCA) and a Commissioning Editor for Rough Cut.
